Saturday evening KFC and Grilled artichokes

Had not had Kettle Fried Chicken in a while...had some BSCT's and looking for a quick and easy dinner. Set up indirect, KBB and a chunk of hickory. Thighs seasoned liberally with mix of below and coated with House Autry chicken breader.

No plated shots - too bad as we also had stuffed mushrooms and my wife's arroz con gandules...so a very nice meal. Chicken turned out fantastic...but artichokes left a lot to be desired...way undercooked with only a small amount of the hearts being edible.
