San Sebastian, Northern Spain

Spent a few days in San Sebastian, Spain last week. High recommended place to visit.

Stumbled upon a big out door BBQ experience when seeking a more upmarket restaurant for an anniversary meal.

No Weber equipment was seen.

High heat pork ribs. Some cooked ham, padron peppers, bread and some alcohol.

Not as good as low and slow but very enjoyable.

Second only to Kyoto in total Michelin stars. Food (and alcohol) lovers paradise.

Literally hundreds of bars and restaurants, most sell pintxos and tapas like these. Take a plate take the items you want and pay the barman:-

And many specialise in the local Galician beef serving what I think are Sirloins on the bone, cooked a la brasa.

San Sebastian is a very good place to visit and enjoy. Pintxos, restaurants, .. each village around has its own special dishes.
Fish is so important also.

Good photos and good food.

Definitely want a giant round table of BBQ to both cook on and eat from now! Looks awesome, always fun to see bbq in a different way than we normally do on tvwbb, thanks Gary
