Rotisserie chicken

Been a while since I posted a cook so tonight, I decided to change that. Home alone today so I made plans to grill up some din-din. Chickens make lousy house pets but they sure make a tasty dinner!!;) I picked up a small yardbird at the store early this morning and gave it about 6 hours in a brine bath. Here are some pics of the cook.

Out of the brine and ready to go on the spit.

A few action shots.

And finally a plated shot. Made up a cast iron cooked Yukon Gold tater, added some broccoli and a drop biscuit.

It was a very tasty, Friday night dinner.

Thanks for lookin'!

Pretty tuff to beat rotisserie chicken. Nice cook Ed. Great photos too. I use the same firebrick setup. Did you use any smoke wood?

Thanks for the kind comments. Much appreciated!

Gary, I used a chimney full of Kingsford blue and I did throw on two chunks of apple wood.
