It's much too coloured, the stock was not the one I wanted but I had no other.

Your Spirit did you well. I cooked some ribs on my sister-inlaws Spirit and I was most impressed with it. Nicely done Alber
 
Never thought about just cooking/eating a pig knuckle. Always used them in soups/stews/beans etc.
They look good. Is that sliced potatoes underneath them?

How was the squid?
 
The knuckle was good, very similar to a shoulder. Anyway, once tested, I prefer it boiled, German style: grilling it 20 minutes in the oven after boiled.
Underneath there were sliced potatoes and mushrooms that I found in the fridge.

The rice with squid was very good, so savoury. Today I have eaten leftovers.
