It's been awhile since I've hit a homerun on the grill, had a couple of doubles maybe a triple, but nothing that has really "wowed" me. I found the Roadside Chicken recipe on this site and it seems to be a good cook so I gave it a try. I set out early Saturday morning to find some chicken breasts...I went to two stores and could only find skinless, boneless breasts, so that is what I went with. Grrrr. I marinated the chicken for six hours and put it on the performer indirect with KB and two chunks of apple wood. I turned and basted them every 10 minutes until they hit 150 internal and then I moved them to direct till they hit 165 and then dinner time.
Here is a picture of them going to direct.

You really can't miss with this cook, my sweetheart rated it a 9.5 and requested that I keep the recipe handy.
Today is nothing but rain here in the Northwest, thank you all for looking and I hope everyone had a happy and safe weekend.
