George, you led a glorious life. You did it all, and then some. Thank you for doing it all with style, class, and above all, a wonderful sense of humor. You will be missed. Your poster hangs in our game room. May you Rest in Peace with your fellow champions. You done good.

A grate fighter. Loved those fights against Norton & Frazier.
He was 40 & 0 when he came up against Ali, [Rumble in The Jungle].
He finished 76 & 5. What a record!

Not a boxing fan by any stretch. (hell not even a fan of any combat type sport period) (the words combat and sport do not belong together in my world). But, I was a HUGE fan of Forman. Always felt he was a class act. Very sad. RIP George
 
I'm paraphrasing here, but Ali once said that being hit by Foreman was like being hit by a cinder block. RIP to one of the best to ever do it.
 
Back in the day when boxing was an interesting sport to watch (read FREE) and there was no ear biting and unsportsmanlike behavior, in a sport that was designed for two guys to beat the snot out of each other, George, Sugar Ray, Muhammad Ali were craftsmen! Tyson blew that out the door, then I quit watching. I’m sorry to hear of George leaving for the larger life, he was an individual to say the least!
