I knew that going in, I don’t do ribs enough to know how much difference it made, but great observation.I'm going to have to keep my eyes on this thread. Pineapple juice differs from apple juice in more than just flavor, it contains an enzyme that'll tenderize or break down meat. I'm curious to see what effect this apparently has on your ribe.

Dave glad to see you back!!Nice cook Bruno! I mix pineapple juice and red wine vinegar to mist my ribs when I'm feeling festive. Creates a really nice flavor, whether putting it into the foil when wrapping or if just straight smoking them without wrapping them. I've also created a mop sauce using pineapple juice. Nice call!
