Ribs and fixins

Did four racks of ribs yesterday, 2 with my rub and then 2 with some rub that a co-worker gave me. Overall the tenderness and taste was good. I wasn't happy with the color as I left for about half hour and my temp on the WSM was around 270° and couldn't figure out the problem. I smoked in the garage as we had some rain and I put a fan towards the smoker and bingo there was the problem. So lesson learned. Also did some smoked baked beans. I tried a copper candy pot to cook them in and that was a big mistake as they didn't thicken up like normal so another lesson learned. The taste was there on my beans.

Those ribs look crazy good and I know those beans were off the cuff good. Great cook Craig

Craig it looks like those ribs were done to perfection. It seems like those temperature fluctuations don't make that big a difference in the final product. Love the beans too. Great job!

Thanks Robert, it was some good and just a little frustration on the temp being my error.....lol......

You did great Craig bones and beans look really good. Only bad part is every time you go into your garage now you're going to want some ribs:)
