Return of Wood Handles!?!

Well then Mark, if you have wood, I'll trade you for perfectly, never used, plastic ones.

I really think that Weber saw wood as a weak link for an product that, overall, lasts for many years.

Of course wood will last for many years too, if properly cared for.
But I'm sure many owners left their grills out, uncovered, in the weather, where everything did hold up well, except for the wooden handles.

I agree. I'm sure people treat their charcoal grills just as bad, if not worse, than their gas grills so,

if you read some of these responses, wooden handles would still be a weak link. LOL
