Restoring old performer in the UK

Here is a shot of the “angle” brackets that came with the “BBQMall” cart, they work pretty well, no drilling required!
Just did a little tweaking, I apologize for the dirty kettle!

The cart is very cool looking.
Thanks Mike, wife got it for me after I had been agonizing over a design for one for months, she just said, “Get it!”
then I didn’t have to think about how to build one. Better design than I had expected, Chinesium of course but, it’s proving to be quite good all in all.
I love my wife!

Hi all.

Just to update this. I have finally finished restoring the performer.

I picked it up for free locally to me, these are quite rare in the UK.

This is what it looked like:IMG_20230910_163157.jpgIMG_20230910_163214.jpgIMG_20230910_163231.jpg

I purchased a new set of 'Unknown BBQ' table mounting brackets which were a straight fit into the Weber trolley.

I had a mastertouch already with a spare bowl so decided to fit that into the trolley. I was tempted to fit the red kettle I have but had other plans for that.

This is how it turned out:

Very pleased with the results!

I had an old school red kettle aswell without the ash catcher. I wanted to add one and used the one I had on the original performer bowl. This kettle is from 1989 (the year I was born) and is in Fantastic condition.

Thanks all for your help and ideas.
