Reheat frozen Butt ?

Week ago I wrapped a Butt I had smoked in Food Service film and put it in the freezer. Tonight I removed the film and wrapped in foil and put it in the oven at 225. Came out suprisingly good.

???? If I had left it in the film and put it in the oven at 225, would it still have been OK?
 
Not sure about all types of plastic wrap, but if you're using Saran Wrap (PVC material) it should not melt at 225*F, but might get kind of brittle.
