Red Curry Wings & Football

Sunday football day! lot to celebrate today - It was the first day in about 2 weeks that one could spend an extended amount of time outside, as the smoke really had dissipated. You could actually walk around without getting a headache or scratchy throat - imagine that! We of course celebrated by staying indoors and watching football (we did get out in between the BEARS game and the Seahawk game in the evening - it felt great!)

We did some wings - A little Asian thing with red curry paste, coconut milk, white miso and other stuff - Whipped up a sauce and marinated the wings in preparation of the night game...

meanwhile, Doris made baguettes and we did a tray and bloody's for the BEARS:

BEARS WIN! AS mentioned, today was the first day in probably 10 days that we could be outside for any extended amount of time - still a little hazy, but nothing like it had been...

...and plated in time for the Seahawks - That was an entertaining game as well.....

Man, that's how it's done Peter! Looks outstanding and a great way to watch a game. Beautiful country where you live. Bet the nerves get a little frayed during a fire season like we're having. Mine sure do.

Looks like a tasty game day meal! Glad for the smoke reprieve here too. The weekend was perfectly clear. The smoke has moved back in a bit but nothing like it was.
