no, although brand new there was no wine rack and baskets. The wine rack is ok but the internal basket I think will come in handy especially if one has different beers in the chill and each basket can be lifted out. Obviously im now on the lookout for more baskets lol!Very nice! So the new one didn't come with the baskets? It's probably a good idea to let it settle before you plug it in.
its not for sale any longer i thinkYes, that is beautiful. There is a blue one for sale near me for $300. It has been sitting there for a while though.
yes Sir! seller was kind enough to meet half way ish! I am UK (mostly) but currently on weber collection duty in the Midwest!Paul, I keep forgetting you are not in the UK. Did you get the one in Richland Center?
i didnt pay full price obviously! You have pictures of the chill in my living room as consolation lol!Dang, now I have to worry about people from the UK infiltrating my back yard?????

I hope you enjoy that cooler. I thought it would look great just sitting in the corner of my living room. But, he would have had to come down quite a bit more for me to bite.
I found a wire basket at WalMart that worked great but when I went back for another one they had discontinued it. So then I found one that's a little different but functional - i think I got that one at Aldi.Brenda, you said you had sourced baskets that fit ok in the chill, can you share details please?
having run the new blue chill it became apparent that the red chill has a faulty thermostat so it runs continuously and is noisy. The blue is silent mostly in regular operation. I will need to try and get the red fixed, disappointing tbh! Beer is cold though!!Keeps cool enough but noisy for indoors. Maybe needs a service!?![]()
This is the one I got at WM. You can see it fits perfectly.Brenda, you said you had sourced baskets that fit ok in the chill, can you share details please?
Beverages, I like cold!Anyone know how cold the Weber Chill actually gets?
Not sure about the Chill but I believe FDA says a refrigerator should be at least 40F. Much higher than that, bacteria apparently grows fast. I read the best target temp is 37F and a good range is 35-38F. That sound about right?
Probably doesn't matter that much if it just beer and sodas. Probably matters if you put food in there.
That's worth negotiating. Here's one on CL a little north of Spartanburg, SC

Weber Beverage Cooler - household items - by owner - housewares sale - craigslist
It’s the Weber Chill, from the grilling experts at Weber, of course. It’s a portable, plug-in indoor/outdoor refrigerator so NO ice is required. The Weber Chill is big enough to hold, cool and keep...greenville.craigslist.org
I tested mine when I first got it. Don't know where my notes are but it was well below 40. Seems like it was about 35-36. Gets drinks nice and cold - that's all I use it for.Anyone know how cold the Weber Chill actually gets?
