Question for those who like Alabama White Sauce Chicken

There's a great recipe on a YouTube channel I like called Everett BBQ, He has a recipe for a spatchcocked chicken, cooked on the WSM with a homemade Alabama white sauce (I haven't made it but it's on my list), I've included a link below.

Grant, I bumped up 2 recipes that we made and they both were very good. Hope you check them out.
Thanks Joan. The Gibson recipe is what I needed; IIRC, he started the whole white sauce thing, so that's probably about as "authentic" as I could get!

Alabama White Sauce is so versatile. You can do almost anything to it. I start with a basic sauce of mayo, ACV, and black pepper, than dress it up depending on my mood. Some of the things we have tried and liked are red pepper flakes, honey, and my favorite, fresh lemon juice.

Glad to see this. Been a while since we've gone "white" and I can't think of a better excuse to throw down some yardbirds.
