Question about charcoal baskets

If I get the charcoal baskets on my 22 in it doesn't have flip up sides to the cooking grate so how do I add charcoal mid cook??

Same way you're doing it now without 'em.
I'd give you some spare used baskets, but shipping would probably cost more than you buying new.

Lift the cooking grate and everything on it off, set it down, add new coals??
Does Weber make a 22 in grill grate with wings??

Come on Chuck, cut loose of the $25 for the hinged grate even if you don't get the baskets, then decide.
I couldn't deal with not having the flip up sides.

OK, I see the hinged grate for the 22" online now.
My pension drops tomorrow...!!!

Agree with Bob. When I have a long cook I just leave one of the flip ups flipped and just rotate the grate over the baskets if I need to add coals.
