People at work are asking if I would smoke them some meat. I was thinking pork butts would be easy enough and cheap enough to sell to them. I pay $1.09/lb at Sams Club for my pork butts. If you were selling pulled pork by the pound, how much would you charge per pound to make a profit for your time and effort? I like the idea of other people paying for my lunch.

$6 to $9 a pound
If you were doing 4 oz sandwiches at $4 each that works out $16 a pound.

It sells $9.95 to $10.95/lb here in the Bay Area, just for a point of reference. Of course, everything is expensive here. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
