My son-in-law recently had surgery to fuse some discs on his back/neck.
I told him when he was up to it, I would come over to their IL mini farm home and cook a tri tip.
My tri tips are his favorite food, period.
Yesterday was the day.
Went morel hunting, only found this tiny guy.

Last night grandson Blake cooked t-bones for us.
I was down by the bonfire and sadly didn't get any pics.
Here's this years up and coming egg layers.

Daughter made the eggs, and hash browns, and we chowed down.
Plates on laps, under the front porch roof, watching the April rain.
