Potato Bombs with Bacon Pretzel Sticks

I am quite a BBQ Pit Boys fan and I have made the potato bombs before, but this is the first time
doing the bacon pretzel sticks.
The ingredients:

The large bakers with Conecuh sausage put in the middle of the spuds. I ended up having to cut
the potatoes in half to get my corer to go through the middle, thus the toothpicks. I seasoned
the bacon with Lambert’s Sweet Rub O Mine.

I took the pretzels and wrapped them with the remainder of my 1 pound of bacon. I seasoned 4
of them with Super Pig and the other 3 with Lambert’s. Going to cook up the rest of the Conecuh
to snack on!

Weber Performer almost ready for the potatoes.

Potatoes onto the Performer. I am using my Grill Dome Half Moon rack directly over the coals.
Performer is at 350.

After a half hour I turned the potatoes and put the pretzels and sausage on.

45 minutes later and the potatoes and sides are done! Total cook time at 350 was about 1 hour
and 15 minutes.

Potato was topped with butter, sour cream, Mexican cheese and some leftover pulled pork.

Potato was delicious as was the Conecuh sausage. The pretzel sticks were good but probably
not something I would want to do all the time.

Thanks for looking!

Boy! That all looks real tasty, Mike. I like pretzels and I like bacon; you didn't seem to keen on the end results - why's that?

Thanks everyone! Tim, the sausage has a Cajun flavor that is different than anything
I have tried before. The Conecuh company makes several flavors and this time I used
Hickory flavored which is really awesome.
Brian, there wasn't anything really wrong with the pretzel sticks I just think it needed more flavor.
I plan on trying them again, but this time I will split some of the sausage down the middle and then
put the pretzel in the sausage and then wrap with the bacon. It also may have been the brand of
pretzels since they are kind of bland anyway! ;)

Mike nice cook! We don't have Conecuh sausage up here, but it looks like something I need to try.

Looks great Mike.

*you post some killer pics for this to be your first pic of week*
