I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but I enjoy clicking on your city and seeing all the nice pictures of where you live.
 
Widening the main highway through Star, Idaho due to growth (3,000+ population growth from 2020-2022. Star was Idaho’s fastest growing city in 2022. Star is no longer the small farming community it once was. We are also Idaho’s first Second Amendment sanctuary city.

Star’s original grocery, hardware and liquor store (the only one in Star) plus a gas station. We’ve recently added a Ridley’s regional supermarket and a new, big Albertson’s store. The Merc is still going strong.

Can’t be. It’s not even the oldest in California…San Quinton is older
I stand corrected. SQ is the oldest then followed by Folsom. 1852 then followed by 1880.

Thanks for that. I should have paid better attention during my FSP tour years ago.
 
Many of the photos in this collection are from when we used to have Cherry Valley Festival Days but that went away about 5 or 6 years ago sadly
