Post your city, please

The Princeton, Circle Tavern, Sea Grill and the entire block are up for sale.
They'll entertain offers starting at $65 million.
Grab some of your former group rental buddies to invest and you'll be living the dream...again!

Wow, it must have gotten fancy in Avalon over the past 30 years.

We usually had our rentals right near there. IIRC, there was a deli (called Donnelley's maybe?), a pizza place and Little Ps (beer, loud music, girls) located on the circle. So all the basic needs of a 20-something single male located within a short walk home.
I don't recall the Princeton ever being called little Ps. I've heard it called the P many times. Circle Pizza is still there. Avalon PD is tolerant of open alcohol consumption...within limits. Group rentals have pretty much disappeared. 20 somethings can not afford the rentals and the older homes are being torn down to build new, multi-million dollar beach homes which, if rented go for $4500/week and up. Some folks complain about this development. I rather enjoy it.

Lived most of my life in Oklahoma City. But, now we live in SE Georgia.

Can't see the ocean from our house, but we can smell it. lol

We're renting while we build. Just bought a lot to build our new dream home.

View from the lot. This will be our nightly sunset view from the back yard.

I'm just glad I get a new, dedicated, covered outdoor kitchen/grilling area with the new build. I'm very excited about the possibilities.

Thanks. We are looking forward to it.

We are budgeting between $230-$250 a square foot. Half acre lot, on the lake, gated community, custom build. Lot was around $65k.

Jay -- it was a long time ago (late 80s, early 90s). But IIRC the sign/logo for the Princeton back then used a lower case p that stood out -- like princeton instead of Princeton.

So people would plan to meet up later at "the little p" or "little p's" for short. I bet some of your old timer neighbors would recall that.

I'm sure it is much nicer now than it was when guys like me were hanging around. Cooler by a mile...

that's some decent pricing compared to what we have.
Yeah, it's not bad. But, we are in a smaller community in Brunswick. It's a good location because it's an hour south of Savannah and an hour north of Jacksonville. My wife can take the dog for a walk on the beach every day. But, it's not for everyone. Lol. If you are used to full on city life, it's a step back. But, for us it's great.

The city where I live. Not really photogenic - too many cars, buildings & people. But hey, 1 hour to the beach, 1 hour to the mountains, 2 hours to Disneyland - unless there's traffic (which is always!), then all bets are off.

Pre dates my 14 years there. Princeton was renovated about 10 years ago. It's a nice place and is open year round. The Circle Tavern was renovated 2 years ago. It's nice too but only open for the summer.
Real estate prices are insane here now.
