I spent the vast majority of the weekend doing some long-overdue chores around the house, so I decided to reward myself (and the family, of course) with some porterhouses. And here go the pictures...
Shot of the steaks straight out of the butcher paper...
Close-up of the seasoning I threw together. The ingredients, in no particular order, were: salt, white pepper, Israeli paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, ground mustard, thyme, ground bay leaves, hickory powder, and celery seed.
Steaks all seasoned up and ready to hit the grill.
Action shot on the Spirit S320 gasser.
Steaks rested and ready to be taken off the bone.
Off the bone and ready for slicing.
Sliced and ready to serve. My apologies for no plated shots...too hungry.
