Pork Loin Chops on the SJS

I wanted to play with the SJS and get it seasoned a little more so I cooked some pork loin chops.

Marinated in EVO, S&P, lots of garlic and some fresh basil from the garden.

Olaf likes to jump on the table and check things out. Not this time boy.

Maybe a little to much EVO.

Almost ready.

Plated with sweet potato and some Star Wars mac-n-cheese.

We picked some habanero's from the garden so I threw them on to roast them for a later use.

Another cook on the SJS, I like this little grill, the pork came out good.

Thanks for looking.

The chops look good. That's a tasty dinner you made.
Those SJs are grilling machines. They sure come in handy.

Nice cooks Pat. I really like my SJ also, although I'm really getting attached to our JJ, just a little bigger for doing indirect. Really had to make a tuff decision on the vortex get one for the JJ or the performer. Went with the performer just in case I needed that extra space.

Great stuff, Pat. I always enjoy viewing cooks which make use of home garden herbs. The versatility of the small Webers never ceases to amaze me - the chops look mighty good and those habaneros must be deadly.

That is one awesome dinner, works for me. I like Olaf he's cute

He's a sweet dog, we rescued him about a year and a half ago.

I have been in search of a JJ for a while and they never seem to show up on CL. I think I know what my wife is getting me for my 50th this year. You made the right choice getting the larger vortex.
