Pork Cutlets

My SF is slow to respond to temperature drops if the temperature is set and the SF is opened. I discovered setting it to full power (600) and controlling the temp either by propping it open a bit, or opening and closing it often, keeps the SM employed

Those cutlets look great.
I did hear an interesting sound while doing this cook. As a kid, my grandfather had a wooden workbench with a wooden vise. The binding squeak the wood vise made when torquing it down…that noise. Only once and it only lasted about 2 seconds but I was moving in quick to power it off when it stopped.
