Plum wood, anyone ever use it?

I recently trimmed my FIL's plum tree and kept enough to (probably) fill a 5 gallon bucket. I was wondering if anyone else had ever used plum and what their reviews were on using it. There is more trimming to be done, I just don't want to keep wood that isn't good for smoking.

Though I have plum trees there still young so I don't get much wood. What wood I have been able to get was a really nice sweet smoke smell.

I trimmed my plum trees this year and have been using it. I love it. You have to use more than you think. It makes a lot of smoke. You'll think you are over smoking it. But, it is very mild.

What is your thoughts on wild plum? Anyone using it? I have a lot of it on the ranch and have thought about using it but never tried. thoughts?
