Pizza and Beer

Sunday was a good day. Just releaxed and did nothing.....

Started with breakfast on the weber Genesis. Preheated my cast irons and then cooked eggs and chorizo and beans.







Later in the day we did pizza. Followed my friend Chuck O. Lead and used the wsm instead of the kettle. Used the lid from the jumbo Joe.



Used lump charcoal 1 chimney full and then used peach and hickory for the fire.



Pizza is done. The pie crust was from trader joes. Don't know how to make my own. Still good tho.







We had beer with Mexican treats,shrimps,cucumber,jicama and lots of hot sauce and chili powder.

Saw few post of people doing this and restaurants so have it a try. The beers are opened and lime and hot sauce are inside aswell.

Outstanding job on the two cooks. Put those pizzas, out of the ball park for sure awesome. Great job you two.
 
Wow what a novel cooking method for those pizzas, LOL
You killed it, those pizzas look fantastic. Breakfast looks mighty tasty but rumor has it, that was more like lunch since nobody was up at breakfast time...
I'm not sure I could to that to a beer, especially a Modellos...
