Don't know how I missed this earlier but you made my day! Congrats on the finish and I'm thinking Los Mexi"Q"tioners BBQ Team is a success already. You folks are having fun so it just doesn't get any better.

Spending time w/ your family, getting a call (don't ask me...), another comp under your belt - high five. You're at a level I can't even imagine. Congratulations Carlos!
 
Carlos thank's for the reply, I know exactly where that event was held now i grew up in SJ & moved from there 11 years ago.
 
Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but this past friday the local comcast community station showed a segment on tv from the bbq competition and we were one of the teams that they had interviewed. Kinda caught us by surprise they just came around and asked us to introduce ourself, say what we were cooking and what not. So excuse the repeated "we are having a good time" lines, I blame all the cervezas and check out my dad dancing in the background...lol
