Thanks Barb and Cliff. I broke it in last night with a simple burger cook. Nothing fancy, just a little get to know each other session.

Looking good! you're going to find that gasser to be really handy.

I know it Rich. We got it for a couple of reasons. My wife is not comfortable cooking on the Performer. Also the way the homes are positioned here we get a wind tunnel effect quite often but we don't want wind to keep us from grilling.

Yep Barb and I know all about winds. Yesterday was the first time in a long time that we were able to grill on the performer because we've had winds in the 30-35mph range for the last two weeks. Yesterday was the first time we got the performer fired up, but when I started the burgers the wind kicked up really bad. Fortunately I got them finished without any problems and shut the performer down. That's why we have two gassers.
Just had a wildfire in the grasslands about two miles from us and it burned about twenty acres before they got it under control and it's not even fire season yet.
