What is the oldest Weber Kettle you have (or had)?

My brother and sister-in-law had this 1956 kettle for over 30+ years before it went back to Weber for others to see in either a restaurant or training academy. It was a wedding present about 34 years ago from our grandparents who bought it new and used it a few times. I believe the story went with it back to Weber. We have not visited Chicago since then (2-3 years) to see it on display but hope it is.

Disregard the pictures at the bottom...attached in error. Not sure how to delete them. Let me know if you can.

Let's see. Hmmm. Do I count from when ordered, when delivered, when opened, when first used? OK, either way, we have had it less than 1 month. lol

(Don't know what year it was made though.)

1970 sounds about right for the first one I inherited from my Father. I used to for a very long time, legs finally started to fail so I replaced it somewhere around 1990, I think.

I have a 1971-2 Patent Pending 26" Aristocrat (red) cool, but rough. (It is disassembled and for sale for a realistic price if anyone is interested):

In some ways I am prouder of my 1974 18" black kettle that I bought for $10 and restored:

I picked up a black 22” recently with thumb screws in leg sockets and steel wheels. Dating to the 1964-68 range and a yellow from early 70’s.

Both kettles are beautiful and in great shape. I really like your 22” yellow with small tabs on the daisy wheels. I own two 22” yellow kettles, one with a small bowl vent tabs and the other with large bowl vents tabs. Both have small lid tabs.

I’ve been searching for an 18” yachtsman.

Cheers
