I can't find any lump at all in my area so I asked my local hardware store to order some Royal Oak. Instead they got Cowboy. I had heard bad things about Cowboy but bought it anyway and tried it out.
I don't like it. It burned really hot but it burned so fast that it was useless. It also kicked out lots of hot cinders. I did roadside chicken in my kettle and had to reload 3 times to get the chicken done. I did turkey burgers tonight and a whole chimney was barely enough to get 4 burgers done.
I will try some other lump if I ever see any but Kingsford is way better than Cowboy Lump.
