Noob Bros 2nd Smoke - Ribs & Chicken


 
With cooks like this I don't think you can call yourself noobs anymore. Might I suggest whole turkey for the next cook?

Next smoke is May 25th and I've decided on Brisket. Cannot seem to get any good turkeys around here at the present.

Funny story for you...

During the Ribs/Chicken cook last weekend some issue came up and Dale was thinking one thing and I was thinking another. I ended the debate with "we're doing it my way and you don't have Curt to back you up this time"

We both laughed.

Wishing you an Excellent brisket ! Briskets are easy to cook, but difficult to consistently cook to perfection.
Break the cook down into a number of steps with each step defined by a specific goal.
Will make it sooo much easier to handle any 'issue'.
 
Proof that you never outgrow being the little brother. As a little brother try not to be too tough on him. As for brisket, I followed the recipe from Weber smoke cookbook. It turned out well. I had a harder time finding brisket than turkey
