Ninja Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Larry, I’m in the same leaking boat! Food might just as well be cardboard, family health issues will wear you out!
I feel for you buddy.

Last night it was a little Bushmills “Prohibition” recipe for me.
Is Bushmills an Irish whiskey? I've heard of it and seen it but never had it

Next time I venture into Binney's I'll have to give it a look. I've heard the Kirkland (Costco) Irish Whiskey is quite a good one as well

Honestly, their “red bottle” vodka is quite nice, the scotch you liked wasn’t to my taste. It was not BAD just a bit “underwhelming”, the Irish is a bit “flat”, fine for Irish coffee but, rocks or neat? It leaves something to be desired. Full disclosure, I wasn’t overly impressed with the Canadian whisky from Kirkland either. It might compare to “Crown Royal” but, I thought the same, just not terribly “interesting” but, I am a CC drinker for my Perfect Manhattans.
That’s the good thing about various liquors, everyone can find something they enjoy and there is no such thing as a “bad” one, just not to anyone’s particular taste! The world would be a terribly dull place if everyone liked the same thing, we would be less human!
I’ve got nothing against their various wines, all I’ve had have been quite drinkable.
Reminds me, I need to snag a bottle of the vodka before it’s no longer a “value” well…not quite as great a deal. We shall see.

Got a bottle of the Redbreast for Christmas. It's decent, though I've only tried it once just to check it out. Not sure about the other.

I’ve not tried that particular “Teeling” but, I had some of their other offering. I’ve not tried redbreast either but, I’m told by a friend that he likes it. “Proper Twelve”didn’t impress me much, it’s an “average” Irish whisky, nothing special.

Never saw "Proper Twelve" just, we were sort of discussing it and I saw those 2. IDK, I may give one or both a try. Put a little something different to sort of "round out" my liquor cabinet

BTW, no chicken dinner last night on the Ninja. Went for Chilean Sea Bass. Grated lemon zest, salt, pepper EVOO marinade, hint of smoke off the Ninja. Got a gorgeous sear and crust, the meat was buttery. Soooooo freakin' good!
