Thighs on the little Ninja tonight. They came out good. Crispy skin juicy meat. No appetite on my part though. Worn out and dealing with family stuff just takes it outta me. But, my little 12 YO Scotch on the Rocks was good

Right now it's looking like a long process. Dealing with issues with our dad, and now my own possible health issues. Pretty tough times so far. One day at a time I guess.

Yes, Irish whisky, I’ve been enjoying it for years, back when I started drinking it it was “Old Bushmills” now it’s just “Bushmills” but, still quite good. There is also “Black” and “Red” also good.

Next time I venture into Binney's I'll have to give it a look. I've heard the Kirkland (Costco) Irish Whiskey is quite a good one as well

Meaning you've tried it or simply anticipating based on it's being Kirkland brand. Honestly I've been enjoying some VERY nice Kirkland single malts and I have to say at $25 a bottle it really holds it's own against $60 bottles I also have here.

Honestly, their “red bottle” vodka is quite nice, the scotch you liked wasn’t to my taste. It was not BAD just a bit “underwhelming”, the Irish is a bit “flat”, fine for Irish coffee but, rocks or neat? It leaves something to be desired. Full disclosure, I wasn’t overly impressed with the Canadian whisky from Kirkland either. It might compare to “Crown Royal” but, I thought the same, just not terribly “interesting” but, I am a CC drinker for my Perfect Manhattans.
That’s the good thing about various liquors, everyone can find something they enjoy and there is no such thing as a “bad” one, just not to anyone’s particular taste! The world would be a terribly dull place if everyone liked the same thing, we would be less human!
I’ve got nothing against their various wines, all I’ve had have been quite drinkable.
Reminds me, I need to snag a bottle of the vodka before it’s no longer a “value” well…not quite as great a deal. We shall see.

Only a little. Honestly I only managed a few bites. And tossed it. Not because bad. Just because of "me".
