Nice Aaron Franklin segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Aaron Franklin is in Los Angeles promoting his book and doing the pop-up BBQ thing and appeared in a nice segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. It's cool to have Kimmel be such a big BBQ fan who is somewhat knowledgeable on the subject and can ask intelligent questions on the subject of brisket, rubs, cookers, etc.

Well said! While Chris (& K Kruger, Craig Castille, & many other here) will always be the kings of BBQ to me, I've enjoyed the very little I've read so far from his book --- makes me wonder if I'd have been born in his situation how I'd have done. I've worked countless 15 hour daze,,, still do once in a while, but ya...

Interesting watching how he trims the briskets (much more detail in the book) etc.... (((few recipes////heavy on technique/philosophy/design////----and I'm no book reviewer))) Chris' videos are king...this is fun to read.

Thanks for posting this video too!! I really want to try a L/S brisket since all (6-8) of mine have been high heat so far.
