Hi all,
My names Dave ,fantastic forum great advice tips and help. I purchased my first weber a genesis silver b in 2000 so 16 yrs and still going strong fantastic quality grill. Have my eye on a new genesis s330 or if my budget allows a summit as the price has fallen in the last few weeks, as weber's command a hefty price in the Uk. Any thoughts advice on the mentioned models would be appreciated.
Happy grilling cheers Dave.

Ay up David. Not a gasser meself, but welcome aboard.
I'm sure there'll be someone along shortly to help you out.

Welcome to the forum David. This is a wonderful place to get info and everyone here is very friendly. I don't know a lot about the new gassers only the older ones as my only gasser is a Genesis 1000. Everything else is charcoal. There are many here that know about the newer units and will chime in on that to help you.

Welcome David, nice to have another member from the UK. It's especially nice to get different perspectives and techniques from the other side of the pond.
As far as the genesis vs. the summits I believe you have a fairly damp environment there. The summits have a lot of rust issues especially in damp locations. The summit has a sheet metal type fire box where the Genesis is cast aluminum. The genesis would be my first choice just for that reason.
But I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the advice, I will take on board the Rich's comments regarding the summit and go for the genesis I think and with the leftover money buy a 22" Mastertouch and a slow n sear to go with it if I can source one in the uk, know there's a thought. Many thanks Dave

Great idea Dave. I love my Genesis 1000 (96) but I love food on charcoal more. Great decision.
