I guess I should have kept quiet. Now we have (quoting from the National Weather Service)
(11 minutes later) Aanndd... there's the snow.
Multi-hazard storm system with heavy rain, gusty winds, possible flooding, and rain ending as snow all underway across central North Carolina, lasting through Monday morning.

Yep, 65F here yesterday and now already 3-4 inches on the ground and snowing HARD. 5-10 inches total expected here.

NW NC here. Winds followed by snow. No power due to the winds. Not scheduled to be back on until Tues night. Downright tropical the week between Christmas and New Years.
