New WSM 22.5 Smoker from Texas

Not new to smoking meat, but new to using a WSM. I've been tied to a stick burner for years, and thought I'd try the WSM to see if I could get away from constantly messing with my fire and temp adjustment in the stick burner. Been a Weber fan for grills my whole life, just never considered a Weber smoker until recently. And, reading some posts about the WSMs on SmokingMeatForums, thought I'd give one a try. Looking forward to trying to get the same quality of smoked meat my stick burner put out, but with less work.
 
After you get it seasoned I believe you'll find it to be rock steady. It almost feels like it's cheating. Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the forum Mick, your going to love the WSM for sure. Don't forget to take lots of pics when you do your cooks. We all like to see and enjoying learning from each other. Again welcome.
