I'm sure you're more mature than me. I was like a kid waiting for Christmas. Old folks are easily amused.I bought the 14 inch (Larger) size upper from Joe's Grill Grates. ETA about 5 weeks. Looking forward to it.
I was looking for a bigger stronger top grate so I can throw a big old brisket on it.What features are you guys looking for when purchasing new grates? Better sear marks, easier clean-up?
I am particularly interested in GrillGrates - https://www.grillgrate.com/ particularly to help vaporize some of the juices on some meats like hamburgers to further reduce flare-ups. Anodized aluminum so no rust and supposedly provides excellent grill marks. Grill clean-up seems fairly easy.

I have the stainless GBS grates and cast iron grates for the bottom, I love those.
and I just want to be like Lew when I grow up!
