New to BBQ - Hello from the Philippines

Hi All,

Carlo here from the Philippines. I'm new to BBQ, just bought a WSM (18.5) from amazon. My smoker should be arriving some time next week (had to ship it via SEA as apparently the box is too big to check in on a commercial flight!)

I decided to get a WSM after reading the reviews and comments around the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here - I'm excited to learn from you all and hopefully be able to contribute in the future.

Pretty psyched to get started!

Thanks for the welcome Jeff, James, and Bob! I definitely will share the pics and recipes. Although admittedly, I will smoke recipes from your side of the world I found a cookbook by weber on grilling/ smoking (where i first came across the minion method). And then found another cookbook by melissa cookston - so i have a couple recipes to try.
