New Flavorizer Bars & Grilled Salmon

I've had my Spirit S320 gasser since 2010, and the Flavorizer bars were starting to get pretty nasty despite my best efforts to keep them clean. To replace them, I bought a set of aftermarket stainless Flavorizer bars made by RiversEdge Products which are significantly thicker and heavier than the OEM porcelain ones. After preheating the grill, it seemed like the radiant heat was more uniform, with less hot spots and cold spots as before. I tried grilled salmon filets as my first test run, and I was able to get a nice clean release when lifting the filets off the grates using a metal spatula. Considering that these aftermarket bars are less expensive than OEM ones, I'd say I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Nice - Salmon looks perfect - Those bars look interesting. Your old ones look like mine about 2 years ago - I need to act!

Salmon looks Great, Jerome!
Let's please not start a competition to see who has the cruddiest flavorizer bars - a top three I don't want to be in!
