New 26.75 for me

So after looking and looking on craigslist for a used 26. I finally broke down and bought a brand spanking new one. Also have the Craycort cast iron grate coming tomorrow.

 
Congrats. I use mine all the time. You'll want to be very careful rolling it from one spot to another with the added weight of those CIG's.
 
Awesome rig, i use mine 99% of the time. My WSM and my 2-22" kettles have not been used since getting my 26er. The 26er reminds me a lot of the 22 master touch grill.
 
Cool! Let us know how you like it. I'm jealous, but I think you did the right thing by buying a new one. There just aren't any used ones out there.

On a totally unrelated note, what is your address and do you leave your garage unlocked?
 
When I see 26er I'm usually thinking old school mountain bike but I can share your excitement...I just hope you have a big family...some serious cooking capabilities there!
 
You have just opened up a whole new world of cooking experiences. Direct, indirect and great smoking opportunities with it. One of the best mods excluding my frame was Nomex under the lid. Makes for a nice seal and soft contact. A front handle is also a great feature.

Enjoy but as Dave has said beware of the tissue paper legs.
 
Awesome acquisition. I have my eye set on a 26inch kettle in the near future. I just wish they would make it in a performer. Wishful thinking I know.

Maybe if enough of us email them asking if they will make one, they might consider it. I already did.
 
I'll bet those Craycorts weigh a ton!
I've the 22" and they're heavy...
Handles look great Joe! say, you still have your Skyline series Weber?
Saw one a few weeks ago in a buddy's neighbor's yard... sure looked nice too....
 
I saw a brand new in the box 26 on CL with supposedly a small dent in the lid for $150. I thought about calling on it but I have way too many grills right now and my fiancée would kill me if I bought another one.
