Need Expert Eyes on This...

Did you score the Blue, Alex?
I did not, she's wanting $80, I'm considering waiting a little and seeing if she'll go $60. My wife is starting to peer around the corner at all these new toys that keep showing up in the bed of my truck :)

Plus, I've got my brother's bachelor party tomorrow and my wife has jury duty starting Monday, so it's gonna be a busy week on the homefront.

Will update soon...

You need to start working with coffee grinders (easier to hide)

Nah, now that you got all the summer porch furniture out of the shed in the back yard, there should be plenty of room for your grills and grill parts. Come fall, just let the wife know that you will be needing a new shed for her patio furniture and gardening tools.

Might be hard to tell, but there’s some scratches in this lid I’d love to clean up if at all possible…any suggestions guys? Or is it just the way it is now

I always apply a coat of turtle wax paste to colored lids and go over the whole lid with 000 steel wool then wipe the wax off with a microfiber towel. It will help with minor scratches like that and get the lid as clean and shiny as possible.

I've used the raw cerium oxide powder on glass and it works but, slowly and requires patience. IIRC I had to mix the powder with water to make a paste. But it was like 50+ years ago when I tried it
I just wonder if there's enough glass on those lids to work a scratch without going down to the color. It's definitely worth a try on a lid you would otherwise trash.
