Naked ABTs

Going to a party at the neighbors this weekend. The thing is, they're vegitarian. I really wanted to bring ABTs but haven't done them without a bacon wrap. So, I had to do a test run tonight for dinner.

Jalapenos, cream cheese & dates. I think next time I'll put the date in first the put the cream cheese on top so the sugar doesn't burn. Let me say, these things taste awsome. Sweet with the spice heat is great. And the jalapeños are really spicy hot, just the way i like them.

Looks great to me Nate. You could try a few with a thin slice of eggplant as a wrap, replacing the bacon.

That might be a good idea for the even though I don't like eggplant. I'll have to think about this one.

That's the IMUSA pot from the build I did a few weeks ago. The Vasconia I received yesterday has black plastic handles.

Those ABT's look really great! Dates are one of my favorite snacks. I'll just have to try those. However, I suspect that mine will be bacon wrapped.

How about "time and temperature" in the smoker? That would really be appreciated.

They were on the mini for 45 min at 225*. I assume the temp gauge was reading correctly. If bacon wrapped, I would have cooked longer.
