The first couple of bites were kind of tough and was wondering what all the fuss was about, but the rest of the steak was nice, juicy and tender. Now I know why it is called the poor mans rig eye. Outstanding steak at a fantastic price!!! Wish I could find there closer to home.

When I was in school, students on a budget knew that chuckeye was a good value if you wanted steak.

I haven't had one in years, but maybe I should try one to see if my memory is correct.
