Evening folks and happy Friday nite!! After Johns post earlier this week of his garlic chicken thighs I though we'd give it a run...40 peeled cloves...man I'll tell ya after about 25 or 30 I was ready for another beer ...so it wasn't quite 40...fired up the grill and tossed some seasoned chicken thighs and golden taters on the fire!

And once we got some color we tossed them in a cast iron pan with the garlic and oil(I added some white wine as well)!
Man Gerti just could not find a good spot to chill so she decided this would work!!
Bout done so added some bread!
Plated with steamed beans, ice cold winter ale..
All in all pretty darn good stuff!! Chicken simmered about 45 and melted in your mouth..loved the taters with some garlic mashed up in them! Thanks John for the idea!! Was super!!
Yep winter ale...I see some of you guys trying to spur on spring with some warmer type beers...alpine spring, Alaskan white(Mr. Lampe)...I tried that a few weeks ago and it had no affect on the weather!! Oh well!
