My 26er

Finally got one. Gotta pick up a turkey for it's first cook, which means probably not until next weekend as most likely the turkey will be frozen. Guess I'll have to cook on my "Giants Sportsman." :)

Great looking 26 Chuck. It should last you a lifetime and then a little more. Save me a drumstick!

nice grab, i've missed two locally in the last two months. Thankfully i snagged a 22" wsm right after those misses. The yin and yang of Craigslist and BBQ :)

congrats! I've been watching CL like a hawk and nothing has come up. When I finish moving I'm going to pull the trigger on a new one. Should be right around Thanksgiving, I'm thinking turkey will be my first cook as well. Enjoy your new 26er.

Outstanding Chuck. You're going to love it. I did a 22 1/2 lb. turkey on mine last Thanksgiving and could have gone larger.

Nice score Chuck on that 26er. I wouldn't mind having one for those rare occasions I need the extra room. But with 2 performers, 2 WSMs, 2 SJs, 3 gassers, the first thing that would be cooked on a 26er would be my butt, cooked by Barb

Awesome on your 26er that's a nice one. What Rich said is true about his butt!!! Maybe???

You'll love that 26, and love it even more with a rotisserie, we got one for ours and it's the best way to do big hunks of meat! With our 26 and the rotisserie we're able to cook with the rotisserie and still have enough room that I can leave the cooking grate in and do potatoes and use a cast iron pan for veggies, with room left over to add more charcoal if needed! You'll love the 26!
