low&slow cherry smoked pork steaks

Monster one-inch thick pork steaks marinated overnight then seasoned before Webertime

cherry wood for smoke on the 26" OTG at 250ºF, the steaks will call that home for over 110 minutes.

meanwhile, two skinned sweet potatoes were slabbed over an inch thick + placed over bacon grease on a CIS

did not bother searing these porkers, did not see a reason to.

just served them up with more green trees and carrots with the yammers :D

After dinner, we (I) sat outside in the 28 degree fresh air to enjoy a warm fire with a glass of Antigua Rhum.

It has been years since I've cooked pork steaks or country style ribs, I have just got to cook some of these soon. Those look great.
