I added a low profile temperature probe port. This is the same style I added on my Mini WSM.
Some people are silicone grommet people, some prefer using cable glands, others like to notch their bowl.
I am a nipple person. (lamp nipple, that is)
Made with brass lighting fixture parts found at most local hardware stores.
So I settled on the same solution used on my Smokey Joe Mini WSM.
It's low profile and can fit 2 probe wires, (fed in one at a time), more than enough for what I would need.
I did have to remove the kettle bowl from the Weber Performer cart to get a better drilling angle. I will also be doing this on my Crimson Performer 22".

- 1/8-IP lamp Nipple need the 1/2" size-
- 2 Brass Plated hex nuts
- 1/8-IP Brass Caps (2-Pack)
- drilled 7/16 hole.
