Had a GREAT post ready to go an hour earlier, butt I forgot to subject title it, so DOWN THE DRAIN IT WENT.
Bad thing about this forum, second time this has happened to me.

***Note to self, and others: Subject title your post BEFORE clicking POST NOW.***

Thanks for viewin'

whatever, just keep eetin' an everything will soon be all gone.

Very nice looking ribs sir! Your 1st pic won't open, says error on page.

How long did the ribs take and how many times did you rotate them? Havn't done any on my kettle yet but wanna try.

Those ribs look perfect, Jim. Outstanding!

Can you run me through your BB technique again. I have never been very good at cooking ribs. I came real close with, what I thought was your technique, this past weekend. I had them in the smoke for 2 hours, 45 minutes in foil and then 30 minutes back on the WSM, cooking around 225 the whole time...They weren't quite done but, as I said in the other post, the kids were antsy for some grub...BTW, they weren't quite thawed all the way when I put them on but they were close.

Thank you guys

those wood handles were on the 3-wheeler when i found it on CL last fall, i added a second handle to the kettle for easier lifting/moving.
Don, I really do not have any technique. This cook was the first time i've used the grill for ribs since i bought my WSM. The day before, i used Dr. BBQ's Big Time BBQ Rub recipe. Although, that's all i did, meaning, i did not cook the ribs to his recipe, just used the rub.
then foiled and stored in the fridge overnight.
took them out to get to room temps before adding to the grill.
Used the MM on one side and blocked the coal with bricks, added applewood for smoke and cooked the ribs at about 350'F for 'bout 3 and a half hours. Lighty sauced both sides. (Glenn, i didn't rotate them until i sauced them the last 30 minutes or so).

Looks great Jim!

As far as lost post, I learned a long time ago to use Word then copy and paste

Thank you all again!
yeah, these ribs were the best babybacks i've done in a very long time.
Best thing about it all was the GRILL!
I bought the WSM to make ribs because for years and years, I've made ribs this way until a friend with a WSM made some and they BLEW ME AWAY! So i bought the WSM and forgot all about cookin' ribs my "old fashion" way.
I ALMOST gave this cook my last BBs cook... not any more. Doing BBs on the kettle and spares on the WSM.
Thanks again, sorry for the rubber lips
