My folks usually just give us cash for Christmas, so here's what I spent it on.

The injector is a "Bayou Classic" SS 2oz capacity. One needle for liquids, the other for minced garlic or onion etc. The digital thermometer is a "Epica" fast read (4-6 sec). It's no thermapen, but it was 72$ cheaper so for that I can wait 2-4sec longer.
Well, thanks for looking! Can't wait to grill something up with the new ci grate!
 
Be sure to remove the o-rings from that injector before you wash it. I lost one down the sink before I even got to use it. Like those grates, though.
 
Got the same injector, a tip run a little vegetable oil through it before your first use and once in awhile after cleaning. keeps it in good shape. Goood choices

I did run about half a chimney of charcoal, got it going and covered the grates in lard, then closed the lid and let it bake on there. Just for a little bit extra seasoning.
 
Great new toys. Been wanting those kind of grates for a few years. Hope they make your sear spectacular!
