while the ribs and bacon and buffalo is chuggin' along on this Smoke Day 9, thought i'd post last night's dinner.
been a while since I've seen hanger steak around these parts.... actually asked the butcher WHEN will they gettum in...
told me in May, so...... it's May.

1.5 pounds, marinated in whatever they use... it's quite good, I only seasoned with S&P

from our garden,
fresh Bok Choy with onions and Shiitake, Oyster (or Pleurote) and baby bella 'shrooms were sautéed

My wife and I can tell you all about how well/good/great Jim grills hangers, Excellently!!
It was well worth the 375 mile trip just to eat hangers at the P1gvilion on our vacation to WI in 2011!

The two legends of the TVWBB together in the pigvillion must have been quite the trip.
 
That's one groovy plate Jim. I love the hanger. Nearly bought one an hour ago for Monday's grilling, but the price had gone up since last time. It used to be a cheap cut. Harrumph.
Stir fry from your own garden-- doesn't get any better than that.

Yes, Gary, the price was jacked another buck here... was 6.99 a few years back then jumped to 10.99 last year and now 11.99
I find it only at sendiks... I should try restaurant depot
